See You On The Other Side
Leah and Christine started a podcast about their healing journeys with psychedelics in 2022. At the time, these subjects were stigmatized and not often talked about on a public platform. But after 3 years of eye opening conversations that would make some people uncomfortable, we realized this space has shifted into something more — a space to safely explore the unknown. We believe the most powerful conversations happen in the gray areas. The ones that make you squirm a little, but leave you seeing the world differently. This podcast is where curiosity meets courage. We’re not here to hand you answers. We’re here to ask the questions that shift perspectives, spark empathy, and remind us that growth starts in the discomfort. Stay curious, be open, and we'll see you on the other side.

24 | PsychedelicTok (with Chloe)
We found Chloe through #psychedelicTok and immediately loved the content and information she was sharing. She works for Psygen, a company that manufactures pharmaceutical grade psychedelics for use in clinical trials and research. Chloe brings science and facts into the psychedelic TikTok space to help reduce some fear and stigma in the plant medicine side of healing.
We talk with Chloe about her personal experiences with trauma and healing. From being prescribed anti-depressants, amphetamines, and sleep meds, all from one doctor, and feeling completely numb. To finding a sports psychologist who believed in processing emotions and anxiety over numbing them. Several years later she was able to safely wean off her medications, and now microdoses and uses psychedelics as needed to manage anxiety and ADHD.
Her first LSD trip led to an awakening of sorts that led her down a different career path, and into psychedelic research. We talk about the future of psychedelics as medicine. DMT for post stroke treatments, LSD for pain management and alzheimer's, and Ibogaine for addiction. We also discuss synthetic vs natural psychedelics. How it plays into the importance of ethical sourcing. Why synthetic might be better for anyone with GI issues. And why plants are too unpredictable and inconsistent to be used in clinical trials.
