14 | "Cassie's" Story (The Mushroom Cloud)

Our first mystery guest!  We've changed her name to protect her identity....bc unfortunately, there is still stigma and judgement when it comes to healing with nature.  "Cassie" is a licensed therapist and social worker who struggled with depression and anxiety.  (Yes...therapists also struggle with mental health.)  She heard about the Johns Hopkins psilocybin clinical trials last year, and finally decided to take matters into her own hands.

She's fresh out of the mushroom cloud, and still integrating her experience, but has already experienced first hand the magic of the mushrooms.  It's changed the way she interacts with her family, her sleep has gotten better, and she's even learned to meditate!  The 'noise' in her head finally stopped, and she feels free.

I think we can all relate to Cassie and her story.  Trying to move through life pretending everything is fine...but suffering in silence.  She's finally out of the dark cloud, and finding herself, thanks to psilocybin.  And brings us another story of hope in healing.
