Once upon a time, a mushroom farmer from Kentucky moved to Jamaica to open a psilocybin retreat. And then the mushrooms called him back home.
Eric Osborne and his wife Courtney, are now co-founders of Psanctuary. A local (to Louisville) and LEGAL sacred mushroom church. A safe space for anyone curious about psilocybin. They host Sunday Services via Zoom where anyone is welcome to join and listen to inspirational teachings, and invited to stay for integration and reflection of psilocybin experiences. They also host retreats for members!
In this episode we discuss why community and connections is such an important part of integrating a psychedelic experience. These experiences connect us to our authentic selves, and in turn we are able to connect authentically with the people around us. But as we always say, people can only meet you where you are. Connections we thought were real, may become distant. Having a safe space, and a safe community to talk to is where true healing can be done.
